The children have been learning all about materials this half term. In this activity the children were investigating how different materials can change shape -such as bending, squashing and twisting.
The children loved carrying out an investigation to test which material was most suitable to make a uniform for a coast guard. They made predictions and carried out the task in groups and then wrote their conclusion. From the materials they tested tin-foil was the best as it was completely waterproof.
