Harvest - we made scarecrows for our Harvest Festival
We've carried on our Portrait work, thinking about using the most accurate paint colour to represent ourselves.
Auklet have made some fab self-portraits from natural materials in our lovely Forest School area.
We've been thinking about people who help us this week and the children have enjoyed exploring some dental equipment! We've shared lots of great language surrounding this.
Auklet and Barn Owl found that three bears had visited the Reception garden! They were busy eating porridge at the picnic table. The children recognised them from the characters in Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
As part of the whole school Art focus, we looked at making self-portraits in the style of Giuseppe Arcimboldo with fruits and vegetables!
Auklet have had a fab first week exploring the indoor and outdoor areas with new friends!
