Autumn Two - Fire! Fire!

This term out Quest is called: Fire! Fire! We will be learning all about The Great Fire of London- when it happened, why it happened, who the key characters were and how the London Fire Brigade and architecture has changed since 1666. Please look at the Parent's Overview for more details of what the children will be learning this half term. And of course, Autumn Two is filled with lots of lovely extra activities to celebrate Christmas - including practising for the performance of our Christmas Show - details about costumes to follow shortly!

Fire! Fire!
Homework - as always lots of reading with your child at home - at least four times a week please. Regular practise of spellings on Spelling Shed - or however works best for you. Year Twos will continue to have a weekly spelling test on Fridays. If you would like, your child can also practise maths on the Number Bots website. On top of this your child should complete their Quest homework.
What to wear/ bring in a usual week:
Monday - P.E. kit and reading folder (for book change)
Tuesday - Wellies and a coat for Forest School
Wednesday- uniform
Thursdays - P.E. kit and reading folder (for book change)
Friday - uniform
- children should bring their reading folder EVERYDAY but on Mondays and Thursdays, Mr Pickford has allocated time to change books.
