In Ibis class, we made worry jars and also thought about things that we can and can't control in terms of regulating our emotions.
Our displays showing all of the amazing work we have completed this term
After looking into the components of blood - we decided to make our own!
For our Family Learning afternoon, we made Greek styled catapults. We used lollipop sticks and elastic bands to make our designs before testing them out.
We went out to the forest school area and made diagrams of the circulatory system using natural resources that we could find.
To understand chronology, we looked at timelines and drew them on our tables. We then placed on different key events from history, showing an understanding of AD and BC.
We made out very own models of the circulatory system, with ourselves being the blood. We moved between the heart, lungs and body, making sure we entered the heart in the correct chambers.
We created Animations showing the journey of the Anglo Saxons to England
We created backgrounds and moving parts using online resources.
We had to remembered our Golden Rules of animation, using small movements between each shot
We had great fun using the Photo Booth to honour King Charles III's coronation
In Ibis, we thought of all the words that mean resilience as well as positive strategies to calm ourselves down when we are struggling with a task or experience.
Compositions
We have composed and performed our tunes to accompany the song from “Holes” book by Louis Sachar. Next we will convert them onto a digital platform.
