Late/Absence Procedures

Beginning of the school day:

Both the main school date and Manor gate will open at 8.45am and close at 9.00am.  Registration will close at 9.00am, so please allow enough time for your child to arrive at their classroom by this time. 

Arriving late to school:

The school gates will close at 9.00am.  If you arrive later than 9.00am you will need to accompany your child to the school office, where you will be asked to sign your child into school for fire safety reasons, as the register may have already been taken in the class. 

Our morning register is taken at 9.00am and will be kept open until 9.10am.  A pupil who arrives late but before the register closes will be marked as late (L).  A pupil who arrives late after the register closes at 9.10am will be marked with an unauthorised absence code unless there is a valid reason, such as a medical appointment.
