The children had a wonderful time enjoying our Forest School area. They had a go at doing bark and leaf rubbings looking carefully at the different textures and effects that they could create. Afterwards they had some 'exploring' time. It was lovely to see how they all chose to do different things from hunting for bugs, to digging a huge hole, using the mud kitchen, climbing on logs and having a go on the rope swing.
This week in Forest School we made clay prints using leaves and sticks that we found outside. It was lovely to see how different they looked.
Natural Crowns - the children created these wonderful crowns using natural items that they had found in the Forest School Area. It is lovely to see the other children occupying themselves and working as a team in our wonderful forest school area.
