Here you will find examples of letter families which show how we teach handwriting according to groups of letters eg Curly Caterpillar letters. There are also rhymes to help teach number formation and sheets which can be printed for handwriting practise. You will also find a poster explaining the development of pencil grip. The children should be aiming for a dynamic tripod grasp.
