We are reading a book called 'The Day the Crayons Quit!' where each colour 'quits' for a different reason. The children staged their own protest on behalf on the crayons. We talked about using exclamation marks and capital letters for different purposes.
We ended our English unit by creating a non-chronological report about Zambia. The children looked at examples of other reports and what features to use, they then researched facts about Zambia and located it in an atlas. Finally they created their own posters about Zambia.
