Classroom photos
Benji the school elf kindlly gave all the children a Christmas present - each child received a lovely new book. Everyone was so excited about their gifts, we spent some time reading them together.
We had a very fiery afternoon recreating the Great Fire of London with our homemade Tudor houses! We saw how setting alight one house quickly spread to other houses. It was very exciting to see the real fire!
I was really impressed with Eagle class' homework - to make a Tudor house!
This week in R.E with Mrs Davis we learnt about Holi (the Hindu festival of colour) we had great fun creating our own blasts of colour using powder paint and water!
In ICT we are learning about digital photography. We went on a walk around the school with a list of objects to take photos of. Next we discussed when to use portrait/landscape and how to delete photo files.
Mrs Davis has been teaching us about Diwali in R.E. We had great fun making Rangoli patterns out of coloured rice!
Eagle class got busy baking some cupcakes and biscuits for our upcoming KS1 bake sale!
In P.E. we are looking at movement. We have been practicing moving in different ways through games and obstacle courses!
