World Book Day
What fabulous costumes all the children came in today - some children even wrote their own poem to accompany their costume. The children started the day off with an assembly where they performed the poem we have learned in class - The Ning Nang Nong.
We also took part in a virtual author and illustrator visit where the children were read a story by the author and then they drew a squirrel - directed by the illustrator.
After lunch we did paired reading with Goldfinch Class. It was lovely to get a chance to share our poems and favourite books with the older children.
