Photographs of our learning
We planted sunflowers! The children planted sunflower seeds and have brought them home for half term. We have said that we would love to see photos of when the sunflowers have grown!
We had a fabulous workshop with Clem from One Day. We took part in lots of drama activities to help us learn about British Values.
Mrs Thorburn came to talk to us about her trip to India with the Guides. She showed us lots of photographs and brought 2 sari's with her.
We had a visit from Mr Sussex and his lambs.
We had fun having PE on the field today. We played a game of 'Stuck in the Mud' and then practiced some relay races and the Egg and Spoon race - getting ready for Sports Day!
VE Day Celebrations!
We were learning to measure in metres outside today using metre sticks.
Nicky and Leah came to talk to us about Judaism. They brought lots of things with them and talked about why they were important to their faith. Thank you Nicky and Leah!
Lots of fun was had by the whole of Key Stage 1 in our first swimming session of the year!
We have been learning about sculpture in our art lessons. We rolled paper into different size tubes and arranged them to make our own sculptures.
