The children had a fascinating time finding out about pollination and bees from our visitor this week.
Today, the children had a visit from Deborah Bain who is a specialist florist and also grows here own flowers for events. She brought in many different flowers for us to observe. We were able to see really close up using the microscope which projected onto the interactive whiteboard. It was interesting to notice how t he shape of the flower made it easier/ harder for different insects to pollinate them.
The children had a wonderful time practising their moves during a Tai Kwon Do taster session helping them to increase their fitness and confidence.
