Quest
Today the children have been learning the names of parts of the plant: stigma, style, ovule, ovaries, filament etc.... They observed some tulips closely, using a magnifying glass and then labelled them.
During Forest School, we enjoyed planting runner beans, cosmos and poppies. We look forward to seeing how they grow over the next few weeks. We observed the different shapes of the seeds. It was surprising how different they all were.
