Dove Class had a fabulous trip to Carymoor Environmental Centre taking part in an Eco-Pirate Workshop. The children had a tour of the site and explored how much waste goes into landfill and how and why this has increased over time.They thought about ways to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle so less rubbish goes into landfill. We ate our picnics and out the rubbish in the correct boxes for recycling. After that the children re-used paper and newspaper to make parrot seed pots to grow their cress seeds in.
