Welcome back - I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas break and wish you all a very peaceful 2026. This half term our Quest will see us investigating forces and magnets.
Our Science focus this term is magnets and forces. We will be looking mainly at the following areas:
- Identify forces acting on objects
- Investigating the effects of friction acting on different surfaces
- Sorting magnetic and non-magnetic materials
- Investigating the strength of magnets
- Exploring magnetic poles
- Understanding why magnets attract and repel different materials
