In Year One and Two we have been learning about toys from long ago. The children brought in toys (and photographs of toys) belonging to their parents and grandparents. We looked at how toys have changed and what materials they were made of compared to now.

Dove Class have been learning all about the History of Flight. They found out about the first flight (made by the Wright Brothers) and wrote an explanation text about how this came about. They made a timeline to show the sequence of different aircraft. A high light of the term was going to Fleet Air Arm Museum where the children saw lots of aeroplanes from different time periods.
