Autumn One

Our Quest topic for this term is Superheroes! This topic has a geography focus, the children will be using fieldwork and observational skills to explore the school and its grounds. They will be learning to read and use maps, as well as creating their own aerial maps and creating a simple key. 

In DT we will be looking at healthy foods, the children will be designing and creating healthy smoothies (suitable to fuel a superhero!) We'll also be creating some 'super' artwork!

We are also hoping to have a Taekwondo instructor come in and teach us some special superhero style moves. 

Please see the parent overviews below for a more detailed look at what we will be doing but we do occasionally change our plans to follow the children's ideas and interests.
