This term our Quest focus is magnets and forces
Our Science focus this term is magnets and forces. We will be looking mainly at the following areas:
- Identify forces acting on objects
- Investigating the effects of friction acting on different surfaces
- Sorting magnetic and non-magnetic materials
- Investigating the strength of magnets
- Exploring magnetic poles
- Understanding why magnets attract and repel different materials

Key Questions:
What materials are magnetic? How can we find out?
Can I make a magnetic material non-magnetic?
How far away does a magnet have to be before it attracts a magnetic material?
Are bigger magnets stronger?
