Art
For the first lesson in our art unit, we have been practising sketching flowers and plants- looking at the geometric shapes and sketching gently before adding more detail.
Today we had a visit from Briony (who facilitates Art History workshops) in primary schools. To link in with our Quest - on forces and motion- the children looked at art with lots of movement in it. They observed and discussed what they could see and also practised the movements they could see in the art. What a lot of wonderful discussion and seeing was had.
