Summer Two
Seaside Treasures.
In our final term together this year we will be embarking on the quest "Seaside treasures". We will be finding out about the famous fossil hunter Mary Anning who lived nearby in Lyme Regis. We will be going on a visit to see her statue and have a go at fossil hunting ourselves on Tuesday the 7th of July. Our Geography work will be based on human and physical features that you find at the seaside and on coastlines. In English we will be looking at the book "The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch" and writing our own stories. In Maths we will be looking at money, factions, time and mass. We will be making fossils from clay in art and of course we hope to go swimming as often as we can! Our PE session with the sports coach will return to a Monday from next week.
