This week was Castle Week. We began this with a visit from the History Squad. The children got to learn and hold lots of different weapons from the medieval days with Knight Eden. After break the children helped to assemble two different types of castle - a wooden one and a stone one. They found out about what the different parts of the caste were used for and how they were attacked and defended.
In ICT we have been learning how to input data onto a computer to create a pictogram. The children enjoyed using the software to create pictograms which showed our favourite fruits, what pets we had and how we travel to school.
In maths we have continued to look at division. Today we have been focusing on dividing by 10 and grouping objects into tens.
