Linking to our Quest this term, we are going to write an adventure story set in Bruton and based on one of the 'landmarks' we explored.
The children had to imagine that the Man on the Bench came alive each night. They had to come up with lots of ideas of what he might get up to, where he might go and why. The children then presented some of their ideas to the rest of the class.

We have been exploring the features of a non-chronological report. In particular, we have been understanding how we organise similar ideas into categories to form paragraphs.
