Bruton Primary School is part of the East Somerset Federation

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational Head of School to work at our Bruton Primary School in partnership with the governors, Executive Headteacher and staff in leading our school onto the next exciting stage of its development.

Learning Support Assistant (SEN) - Bruton Primary School

Salary £15,375 pa pro rata £7.9692 per hour

Grade 15 Point 9 – 13 subject to previous experience

15 hours and 25 hours per week term time only

We are looking for two very special people to join our team in September 2018

One post is for 25 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with the second post for 15 hours per week from 12.30pm – 3.30pm

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and resilient learning support assistants to provide personalised support for pupils with special educational needs from September 2018.  The posts would involve working with a specific child, on a one to one basis.   Both roles are dependent upon the specific child remaining at Bruton Primary School

 Teaching Assistant/ELSA - Bruton Primary School

Grade 14 (pt 13-17)

25 hours term time only     (10.30am – 4pm Monday – Friday)

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in partnership with the Federation Head of School, SENDCo, teachers and support staff to ensure that the pastoral needs of our pupils are fully supported.

The pupils, staff, parents and governors have a great sense of pride in the school and care passionately about its future success.

We are seeking someone who:

  • is passionate about meeting the pastoral needs of our pupils
  • has experience of an ELSA or safeguarding role with children
  • has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to make decisions based on school procedures and protocols
  • has flexibility, initiative and a committed approach
  • will behave professionally and confidentially with sensitive matters
